Expert In Neuro/Spinal Rehab Travels To Cottage Hospital For Assessment

Grace Fisher was diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis, a rare polio-like, paralyzing syndrome that affects the spinal cord. Doctors don’t know why or how she was afflicted. Since Grace’s discharge, she has gotten more into art and back to her primary love, music.

During a party to celebrate her 17th birthday, Grace Fisher suddenly was overcome by pain in her neck and tingling in her hands. Within minutes, upon arrival at the hospital, Grace lost the use of her legs.
