Summer Extravaganza July 6, 2019
A couple of weeks ago, we had our Summer Extravaganza at Tucker’s Grove Park. Dozens of families and members of our community joined us for the two-hour long event, where we provided adaptive art, games, face painting, and food! We enjoyed all sorts of messy Summer outdoor art including water balloon splatter paint, bubble prints, and painting with water guns. Participants also had fun bowling with huge blow- up balls and pins that made the game accessible for all, including wheelchair users! It was so fun to see people of all ages and abilities expressing their creativity through different mediums. We feel honored to provide a creative outlet for people of all abilities to connect, make beautiful art, and most of all have fun!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Summer Extravaganza, especially our wonderful volunteers. We would also like to thank Blenders and Valentino’s for providing food. Subscribe to the GFF mailing list below so you don’t miss out, see you next time!
